OFFICIAL RULES

  • Dates of tournament will be Oct. 17th and 18th, 2008. Always held the third weekend in October.


  • Entry: Angler fee of $125.00 includes Angler's entry to all functions. All entries must be received no later than 7:00 p.m. October 17, 2008.


  • This is an individual angler tournament. However, there will be a team trophy award to any boat with two or more anglers with highest combined score.


  • IFGA rules and tackle specifications apply unless otherwise stated. It is the responsibility of the Angler to be familiar with these rules

  • Cat on doorstepThis is a release tournament with scoring in bait, artificial and fly divisions.


  • No heavier than manufacturers stated 12 lb test line may be used in all divisions.


  • To qualify as a release, the fish MUST be photographed with provided messuring device. The overall length and release time must be entered on provided score sheet.

  • Ties will be awarded to the angler who catches the last fish first.


  • Casting for Cats participantsFishing is restricted to polable depths of water. Fishing is man-made canals is prohibited. Only one working rod per angler is allowed in the water at any time. An angler may wade from the boat to fish.


  • Fish categories include: Permit, bonefish, tarpon, snook, redfish, ladyfish, shark, jacks, trout. Max five fish in each category. There will be a prize awarded for the largest catfish. All measurements are overall length.
